Healing Through Storytelling
Shame loses its grip when we find the courage to speak our truth. Think about it: have you ever confided in a friend over drinks, only to realize she’s navigating something similar? That moment of connection leaves you feeling lighter, less burdened, and far more hopeful. At our core, we all want reassurance that we’re not alone in what we’re going through.
My blog reflects this belief. I blend personal stories, sociocultural insights, and mental health wisdom to explore the journeys we share. Just as I often encourage my clients to journal as part of their healing, my blog is my way of practicing what I preach—showing up authentically and vulnerably.
If you’re a client who prefers less insight into your therapist’s personal life, feel free to proceed with caution or bring up anything you read here in our sessions. This is a space for connection, reflection, and, ultimately, healing.
